Hello my dears! By some miracle, I'm back after just one day!
Also, I have a finished(ish) object...
My first attempt was abandoned after more than 3 years. This attempt has taken 3 weeks. It's not completely finished though, as I want to sew a backing sheet to it, but all of the knitting is finished.
I also got some happy post today, some of which was knitting adjacent:
Gamer Crafting is having a little sale of some of their little extras, so I've taken the opportunity to appease my minor pin badge and tote bag obsessions. I especially love the T-rex pin.
The things in the top left corner are solid shampoo bars that just happened to arrive today as well, so I thought I'd include them in the photo.
December 10th
Today's Advent of Change charity is Born Free, who are an animal welfare charity working to ensure all animals have the best life possible.
Cutie pie Finn posing for the camera, and waiting for his advent treat. The only way that you can get him to pose is by promising treats, otherwise he turns away from the camera.
Made by Penguins - 20g, 4-ply mini-skein in tonal pale blues.
Mothy and the Squid - 10g, 4-ply mini-skein in shades of purple, from very dark, to almost white.
T2 - French Earl Grey tea.
Lindt - mini milk and white Lindor truffle.
Earl Grey is my regular brew, and Stephen doesn't like it very much. I actually already have some T2 French Earl Grey, as well as about a dozen other variations on the theme! Since Stephen didn't want to share this one with me, I made it in my tea-for-one pot and cup set.
I always forget how each of the many variations on Earl Grey differ from each other until I taste them, and it's been a while since I had any of this one. It's strangely fruity, and smells like apricots when it's brewed right. Don't over-brew this one, or it will get really bitter, and you'll lose the more subtle flavours.
That's all for today my dears. Hopefully I'll be back with you again tomorrow.
