December 2nd 2019

Hello again my dears, welcome to my 2019 Advent Adventure of Indulgence, day 2.

Today, my Advent of Change donation has helped:

The Teenage Cancer Trust, who help children, and young people battling cancer to have a life beyond their illness.

Behind the doors, and inside the packets of self-indulgence I have found:

Lindt - Chocolate square.

Hotel Chocolat - tiny chocolate slab with Santa Claus on it.

Charms - Angel stitch marker.

Yankee Candles - Snowflake Cookie candle.

Imperial Candles - Pink soy wax melt, that I think might be Wintery Berry scented.

Cath Kidston - Hand cream in the Gardener's Club Pink Mint Lemonade scent, which is lovely!

Bird and Blend - Moondrop Dreams herbal infusion, which I'm drinking right now, and is gorgeous!

Made by Penguins - the bottom mini-skein, in the colourway "Pink Blush", plus a little organza pouch with a penguin stitch marker.

Vicki Brown - the top mini-skein, in the colourway "Tennis Ball", which the photo doesn't do true justice to, as it's incredibly bright, just like a brand new tennis ball!

Gamer Crafting - the middle mini-skein, which is sparkly as well as beautiful colours!

Finn has already learned that tasty treats come out of the magic boxes, and he loves his very much, although he is disappointed that tasty treats for him don't come out of mine and Stephen's magic boxes too!  He'd be a very fat spaniel if they did!

Stephen ate his chocolates before I could photograph them today.  I suspect photos of what he's getting will only come every other day, when he opens the sock box.

WIPs

I have failed to finish the socks today.  I must therefore finish them tomorrow, in time to get them in the last post.

Stash Acquisition

My Homespun Wonders December Mythical Creatures box arrived this morning, and it is perfect!  The theme for this month is Ice Dragon, and that yarn is exactly what I imagine an ice dragon's scales would look like!

That's all for today my dears, back again tomorrow!
