Advent Days 13-15

I am devastated.

I have lost one of the advent calendars that I made for my godsons.  By lost I don't just mean misplaced either.  I've turned both Kelly and Stephen's houses upside down trying to find it, as well as my room, and the car.  All I can think is that it has fallen out of a bag en route to or from the car, then been picked up by someone else :(

I put hours of work into that, there's no way I can make another one before Christmas.  I'm now at the stage where my godsons will be getting their advent gifts along with their Christmas gifts, and the advent calendars will have to wait until next year.

There just aren't even words for how much this upsets me.

However, The world won't end because I failed to provide the exact gift that I intended, and the boys will still know that I love them.  So I'm going to try to push this to the back of my mind, and get on with the rest of my preparations.

My most recent trip up to Newcastle was short but sweet.  My regular cuppa with dad and Davie also included this cute cupcake that matches my phone wallet!

December 13th was mostly spent travelling.  One break down on the M1 resulted in no fewer than 3 further incidents that I saw, and a long, slow, crawl home.  I didn't have time to open any calendars.  On the 14th I had an energy crash, and mostly slept.  So today I got to open 3 new doors on every calendar all at once.

The 3 new teas were: White tea with lychee and cocoa, Post festival cleanse me, and Chai Immune Boost, which are the same teas as days 1,2, and 3.

The candles were: Festive cocktail, Star anise & Orange, and Christmas Cookie.

The yarns were this bright and cheerful mix of green, yellow, and orange, another monochrome beauty, and a lovely green, orange, and purple.

Still loving this :)

Bed time now though.

Night Night my dears.
